De Plume & d'Épée

This illustration was created as a sign (the kind that hangs over a door) and logo for the French bookshop "De Plume & d'Épée", which focuses on fantasy and sci-fi litterature.

Working for them was really nice, because the shop owner gave me just the right amount of direction and artistic freedom, which allowed me to create this elegant and surreal composition. And adding a bit of surrealism to everything is always great :)
