FateForge spirit animals

These two paintings of spirit animals were created for the tabletop RPG FateForge (Dragons, in French) by publisher Studio Agate; they're interior illustrations for their Bestiary "Creatures".

Among the dozens of illustrations I've painted for them, these two are probably my favourites: their descriptions mentioned that these spirits could sometimes look like realistic animals, but also fade into ethereal abstraction... so obviously I loved designing them, playing with brushstrokes and lost edges to make them feel more dreamlike :)
