For this painting, I channeled my inner romantic painter.
Emotional characters? check.
Dramatic lighting? check.
Raging elements? just another day on the coast of Brittany, but check.
Brushstrokes? yessss, look at my brushstrokes! I've added five close-up views for the sole purpose of showing my brushstrokes!
Also, sand eel mermaid. Not mandatory according to Romantic painting codes, but always nice to have.
